The Association of Intercultural Communities attended the opening of the tourist center at Jozefina Pension in Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka, Slovakia in June 21 to 22. In Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka is the oldest active partner of the Association, GIT (Gömöri Ifjúsági Társaság). Three of our volunteers did their European Voluntary Service at the partner organization for a period of one year. At the meeting, our volunteers from Romania were made honorary members of the organization and received a symbolic diploma and the hosts expressed their joy to welcome them whenever they want to return.Our volunteers met with the new ones who will be doing their European Voluntary Service this year at the partner organization, they had the chance to talk with them, to share their experiences. At the opening of the tourist center, participants had the opportunity to learn dances, try traditional specialties, to participate in sports, archery, presentations and exhibitions.Volunteers of the Association of Intercultural Communities who were elected as honorary members of the partner organization are: Tarsoly Normen (EVS in 2012), Uhl Jozefina (EVS in 2012), Balla Sándor (EVS in 2013), Nagy Zsombor-István (EVS in 2014).
