The Association of Intercultural Communities from Oradea along with Úton Ifijúsági-Kulturális Egyesület Association of Debrecen, Hungary launched the project “Together for a better environment” held in Baile 1 Mai, Bihor County. The project was funded by the European Commission under the Youth in Action.

The project was implemented between 14.03.2011-20.03.2011.

Type of Project: Youth Exchange, Action 1.1.

Project involving 18 young people, 9 of  Hungary and 9 of Romania.

The goal was raising awareness on the environment and the effects of their negligence towards the earth and to the environmental protection.

The main objective of the project: raising awareness and educating of young people who participated in this project on the importance of maintaining a clean environment for future prevention and resolution of environmental issues.
Our secondary goal was that young people from both countries to get to know each other’s culture, traditions and learn to live together in a multicultural Europe without prejudice towards each other.
